 | Amber (Silver) Stain For Laboratory Glassware  We offer a wide range of Amber (silver) stain available as yellow and dark amber and are highly suitable for brushing, spraying and direct and screen printing. Silver stain can be widely applied to hard and soft glass products such as medical, scientific, thermometer and mild container decoration which develop dark brown, light yellow etc. by penetrating in to surface of the substrate. These are basically silver containing material that penetrates during the firing in adjoining and uppermost glass layers and according to the combosition of the glass and the metals present, will result in the glass being stained yellow, dark yellow or dark amber . The penetration capacity depends upon the combustion of glass and metal part resulting in the glass being stained yellow.
Application: Amber (Silver) Stain/Diffusion Paint are suitable for brushing, spraying and screen printing and can be applied smoothly and evenly with brush even.
Resistance: The advantage of decorating with these amber (silver) stain is that they have the same mechanical and chemical hardness as the base glass. This stain can be used for Church Window Glass would be resistant to wheather, This Amber (silver) stain mainly used for graduation on glass for laboratory and medical use, thermometer etc. would be resistant to acids and sterlising liquids.
Firing: The firing temperature should be as high as possible to obtain a more refined result. Under no circumstance should it fall below 560oC An extensive soaking time depend upon the glass and the kiln type guarantees complete diffusion of the silver irons in the glass. Now we have deloped Dark Amber Stain for direct printing, indirect method (decals) and non drying for conveyor furnace.
